Lane Wells

After moving to West Michigan for college, Lane knew he wanted to stay, because of the unique opportunities and substantial growth throughout the region. Lane's commercial real estate experience began through market research and providing the most accurate and complete data to advisors and clients. As his experience and market insight grew, Lane stepped into a client services role where he strategically created marketing materials, served as a client liaison, and delivered exceptional support for clients and the community.

In his most recent role, Lane has ventured into brokerage, providing real estate solutions to clients throughout West Michigan. His unique insight into how to efficiently and effectively market properties, expert knowledge of the local market, and ability to analyze necessary data and statistics allows him to guide his clients through a seamless experience. Lane is able to understand the variety of needs his clients have, through accurate building valuation and site selections.

Michael MurrayCCIM

Mike Murray is a West Michigan native and retail real estate specialist with nearly three decades of experience. He began his career in 1996 with Grubb & Ellis Paramount Commerce (now Colliers International) and quickly gravitated to retail, building early credibility on the redevelopment of a Kentwood shopping center that helped catalyze new activity, including Celebration! Cinema, Pizzeria Uno, Steak ’n Shake, and Bob Evans.

Known for honesty, transparency, and market fluency, Mike advises developers, landlords, sellers, and national retailers throughout West Michigan. He represents many of the region’s most active brands, including Taco Bell, Consumers Credit Union, Dunkin’, AutoZone, Jimmy John’s, Hungry Howie’s, Culver’s, and Woodhouse Day Spa.

Mike believes retailers and restaurants are integral to community growth, employment, and quality of life. His approach blends clear communication, data-driven insights, and creative deal-making to help clients make confident, informed decisions. A committed industry leader, Mike is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Commercial Alliance of Realtors and has previously served as President.

Michael Visser

Michael Visser is a Grand Rapids native who attended GVSU and earned a bachelors of Science in economics and Finance. As an investment specialist, Michael works with buyers and sellers to structure sale leasebacks, execute marketing campaigns for cash flowing buildings, and help investors create a diverse investment real estate portfolio.

With over 30 years of experience spanning residential, commercial, and specialty development, Scott has a rare, full-spectrum understanding of how great projects come to life, from dirt to doors.

After earning his degree in Marketing in the early 1990s, Scott dove into real estate with a deep curiosity for land — how it’s used, what it could be, and how to unlock its true value. He’s been transforming raw parcels into purposeful spaces ever since. His approach is hands-on, blending vision and execution: from site acquisition and entitlements to construction oversight and final sales. After earning his degree in Marketing in the early 1990s, Scott dove into real estate with a deep curiosity for land — how it’s used, what it
could be, and how to unlock its true value. He’s been transforming raw
parcels into purposeful spaces ever since. His approach is hands-on,
blending vision and execution: from site acquisition and entitlements to
construction oversight and final sales.

Scott joined Advantage CRE after nearly a decade at Holland, MI based boutique development company Space Source Inc., where he focused on self storage, car wash, residential subdivision and investment brokerage and development. Now part of the team at Advantage Commercial Real Estate, Scott brings not just decades of deal-making experience, but a developer’s mindset. He knows the terrain — zoning, utilities, market shifts, construction realities — and how to navigate it with creativity and strategy.

Steve Marcusse is regarded as a local industrial market expert due to his knowledge of the industry and his experience and success in the marketplace. Over his 20+ year career, Steve has helped his clients close over 1000 transactions totaling over $1 Billion and representing over 24,000,000 square feet. Steve is well known for his focus on hard work and excellence, as well as his commitment to client success. Using his advanced knowledge of the industrial market, Steve helps ensure that clients make the best real estate decisions. Additionally, Steve was the youngest person in the state of Michigan to hold both the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and SIOR (The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS) designations, thus proving his hard-working and ambitious nature.

Thomas Vredevelt

Thomas is a commercial real estate advisor with a deep-rooted connection to West Michigan. After spending his early years in the region, Thomas relocated to Florida’s Atlantic coast, where he completed his education and began his professional journey in the luxury yacht industry. Rising from deckhand to captain, he gained firsthand experience in client service, operations management, and team leadership. These early roles sharpened his ability to deliver under pressure and build lasting client relationships.

Driven by a strong sense of community, Thomas ultimately returned to West Michigan.
