Anmar is a member of the Downtown Battle Creek Association, the Commercial Alliance of Realtors (CAR), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors (GKAR) and the Michigan Association of Realtors (MAR). He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Kalamazoo Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.

Rich has been with Hinman for nearly 35 years and primarily focuses on commercial real estate development and investments in Kalamazoo, Portage, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Battle Creek, Lansing, and South Bend. Rich has been involved in significant land assemblages, acquisitions, and developments including urban and suburban, multi-family apartments, shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, mixed-use, technology and research, historic redevelopment, and high-rise projects. He is on the Board of Directors for Southwest Michigan First, Western Michigan University Foundation Real Estate Committee, Battle Creek Unlimited Direct Investment Fund, and Portage and Oshtemo Downtown Development Authorities. Rich graduated from WMU with a BBA in Accounting and a minor in Finance.
