Historic Grand Rapids Railway Station

This property is at the intersection of two major roads across the street from Grand Rapids largest future transitional development on the Grand River. Corner of Market (west entrance to city) and Wealthy (south entrance to city). Historically, the location was used as the original Grand Rapids railway station. All possible utilities in place, along with being in an opportunity zone make this not only a key location, but a tax protected investment. A 12,000-capacity riverfront amphitheater is being at 201 Market Ave SW and is expected to open in the Spring of 2026. The amphitheater is one component of a planned redevelopment of a 31-acre stretch along Market venue between Fulton and Wealthy Streets. The vision for the area, developed by Grand Action in partnership with the city and others, includes up to 1,750 apartments, ground-floor retail space, and parks and greenspace. It’s designed to tie-into and complement efforts to revitalize and restore the Grand River’s rapids in downtown Grand Rapids.
